This tool was found among some CCC artifacts.  What is it?

In January the Board of Directors approved the Nominating Committee Policy and elected three members in good standing to serve.  The criteria given to the committee was to locate 7-14 members in good standing who would be placed on the ballot.

Nominating Committee Chairman, Edward Atwood, reports that seven individuals have come forward expressing interest in serving on the 2009 Board.  Since the total number of candidates who have submitted their interest in serving is the same as the number of Board members required to be elected for the 2009 Board year, the candidates listed are the only names that will appear on the ballot as part of the nomination process.  Other potential candidates and their supporters can still participate in the ballot process by becoming write-in candidates.

In order to give write-in candidates an opportunity to express their interest in serving, each candidate will be voted upon individually.  The seven individuals receiving the largest number of votes will be the board members for 2009.
